Last Monday Night of the Month Book Club: Boy’s Life

A friend of mine suggested that I recommend books I liked on this site as the people who were reading the blog, might possibly be book readers themselves. Taking his suggestion, here is my first recommendation. I read this book almost twenty years ago and have reread it a number of times (last time was a couple of years back). Robert McCammon usually writes horror stories and thriller novels, but here he weaves a tale mixing the wonder and innocence of childhood into an intricate mystery which results in one of the most moving books I have ever read. My first recommendation is Boy’s Life by Robert McCammon.

I will try to keep this up every Last Monday of the Month (if it gets any traction from you, the readers). If you would like to suggest a book, please do so via the comments feature in WordPress or through Facebook.
